This is our home. We appreciate the peace and quiet, the sound of wildlife, and the neighborly wave of a passerby. We want to protect it and can only do so by growing our membership. There are only 12 active firefighters at our station and very often half could be out of town. Whether you’re a full time resident or part time, we need your help. We appeal to everyone to consider joining our volunteer effort and volunteer beside us.
You’ll appreciate the support and value the knowledge you obtain for years to come and most importantly, you help us ensure our community remains the Elm Pass that we appreciate.
For Membership information contact the Elm Pass Volunteer Fire Department (830) 634-2083. Please leave your name and phone number on the answering machine and we will call you back. You can also attend our monthly meetings at the fire department on 1247 Elm Pass. We welcome walk-ins. Membership is voluntary and its free.
Watch for our mailing soon along with “gate hangers” we will attempt to deliver to all our residents.
Lastly, tell others about our website so they can learn more about wildfires and rural community precautions.
